Why it works

A portrait becomes a story when it has a moment, an emotion and a light source that belongs in the scene. Describing it as a film still (medium close-up, anamorphic lens look, warm-cool contrast, grain) gives the model a strong visual target without naming any film or director. Looking past the camera rather than into it makes it feel like a scene, not a photo shoot.

Why it works

Headshot photography has a well-known recipe (an 85mm lens, a key light at 45 degrees, catchlights in the eyes, eyes a third of the way down), and describing it gets a realistic, flattering result. "Natural skin texture with visible pores" steers away from the plastic look AI portraits often have. Use invented people for mockups and characters, and the "From your photo" version for yourself.
